In order to preserve the authenticity of this monument, it was crucial to precisely plan the restoration of its floors \u2013 which were in quite poor condition.<br \/>Restoring parquet floors in such a historic setting requires precision and careful planning. Traditional measurement methods would be time-consuming and involve the risk of error. Our colleagues from Parquetaria Hirschfelder faced a series of challenges related precisely to the precision of measurements.<br \/>Angela Martin, an expert in digital surveying, was hired to create a detailed 3D visualization of the space. Our colleagues from Parquetaria Hirschfelder faced a series of challenges related precisely to the precision of measurements.Angela Martin, an expert in digital surveying, was hired to create a detailed 3D visualization of the space. Using the innovative Flexijet 3D technology with an automated surface scanning feature, Angela was able to accurately determine the height differences of the existing floor and determine the locations of the heating niches. Project summary In just 2.5 hours, a complete 3D CAD file that provided Parquetaria Hirschfelder with all the necessary information and reference points was created. Precise calculations allowed the creation of a new floor with millimeter accuracy. By using Flexijet 3D technology, Parquetaria Hirschfelder successfully overcame the challenges of measuring in a historical environment, which resulted in significant time and financial savings.
