New electronic system for measuring stairs
Flexijet Stairbox is a stair measuring system that allows you to create accurate CAD staircase dimensions in a fraction of the time it would otherwise take.
The Stairbox measuring unit detects the measuring coordinates of the measuring tip with very high accuracy and then transfers them via Bluetooth to a netbook with Stairbox software. Certain step parameters are displayed in real-time in the software, allowing immediate visual control – forgotten or wrong measurements and transposed numbers are thus a thing of the past.
Flexijet Stairbox offers two types of measurements
Point measurement
Point measurement is particularly suitable for angular stair shapes. Here you mark only individual corner points that are connected by straight lines. The position of the leading edge and protrusions are calculated automatically.
Contouring
Contour measurement is available for measuring complex, angular or round step shapes. With this type of measurement, the position of the measuring tip is continuously recorded.
You can combine both types of measurements at any time to capture any step shape, no matter how complex, in just seconds. Measurements that used to take hours can be done in a matter of minutes, in a simple and highly accurate way using the Flexijet Stairbox system.
Stairbox software - fast, error-free and efficient operation!
The intuitively controlled Stairbox software captures all relevant project data. Thus, the number and type of stairs can be selected, as well as specific dimensions such as the height of the ascent and the nose or side overhang as well as the material.
The course of the measured staircase is immediately displayed as a 2D model for your visual assessment. For fast data exchange with your production department, the Flexijet Stairbox offers the “DXF” data exchange format for transfer to a CAD application. In addition, the flow of measured steps can also be created as a PDF file.
You can also perform an instant audit of the measured steps in the Stairbox software during the measurement process. Individual step elements can be adjusted individually by moving, adding or deleting measurement points. All edge lengths and angles are displayed and your changes are updated immediately. Also, the properties of the edges of the individual elements of the stairs can be individually adjusted and are immediately visible.
If you wish, you can also manually create stair elements by directly entering the dimensions and seamlessly insert them into the Flexijet Stairbox measurement. This creates a fast measurement with the highest possible reliability!
