Measuring the positions for the glass railing Project description The implementation of glass stair railings often requires precise measurement to ensure perfect symmetry and equal spacing between the panes. Traditional methods of measurement usually involve time-consuming processes of creating templates, which can significantly increase the preparation time for making the railing. In this project, we used a Flexijet 3D measuring device to optimize the manufacturing process. Flexijet enabled us to quickly and precisely measure the space, with all the necessary data immediately available in CAD format. We spent only 30 minutes to create the necessary CNC programs and the order for the glass fence. In addition, Flexijet provided additional benefits such as precise data on the slope of the walls, the angles between the legs of the stairs, the position of the “Spider”, handrails and other parameters.
