Especially when it comes to materials like natural stone – elegant, durable, but at the same time technically demanding and sensitive to the slightest mistake. This was exactly the case with the kitchen in a private house on Zagreb’s Sv. Duh, where the client had a clear vision: stone countertops and wall coverings that would fit the space perfectly, without compromise and without room for improvisation. In a world where every mistake can mean thousands of euros in loss, the solution was not classic manual measurement, but technology that offers what luxury materials demand – absolute precision. Discover below how the Flexijet 3D system became a key ally in the realization of this demanding but spectacular project – from digital measurement to perfectly mounted stone surfaces that will take your breath away. Challenges:The investor ordered the production of natural stone kitchen surfaces for the kitchen island countertop, the countertop with sink, and wall cladding with holes for two sockets. Given that these are expensive materials that do not tolerate errors, it was necessary to ensure maximum measurement accuracy before starting construction. Solutions:In order to eliminate the possibility of manufacturing errors, a Flexijet 3D digital measurement device was used. A detailed 3D measurement of the already installed kitchen elements was made, including: the exact dimensions of the kitchen island and its edges, position of the elements with the sink in relation to the wall, heights and depths for stone processing, the positions of two sockets that had to be precisely cut into the wall covering. The data obtained from the measurement was imported into CAD software and prepared for processing on CNC machines. This enabled: making a stone slab with absolute accuracy, precise processing of openings for sockets without the need for manual corrections, perfect fit of all elements already at the first assembly. Advantages of FlexiJet 3D measurements No additional costs due to errorsThanks to the precise 3D measurement of the kitchen using the Flexijet device, additional costs that would otherwise arise from errors in the manufacture or installation of stone worktops and wall coverings are completely avoided. This prevents unnecessary expenses for additional materials, subsequent corrections, additional working hours or multiple organized transport. Faster processing, faster assemblyPrecise and detailed data enabled CNC stone processing without additional on-site checks. This significantly accelerated the entire process – from material processing to final assembly – and enabled the project to be realized in a shorter time frame. Elements that fit perfectlyThe stone elements – the island worktop, the worktop with the sink and the wall covering with socket openings – were manufactured with millimetre precision, completely adapted to the existing kitchen elements. Thanks to this, the installation was quick and flawless, without the need for additional adjustments on site. Reliability from design to finished productCAD designs, generated directly from Flexijet 3D software, enabled stone processing with a high level of reliability. This virtually eliminated the possibility of human error during the production process, which is especially important when dealing with expensive materials such as natural stone. ConclusionThanks to the use of the Flexijet 3D system, the elements were manufactured with millimetric precision and installed without any additional finishing on site. The result is an aesthetically and functionally flawless kitchen with a luxurious stone countertop that fits perfectly into the existing space. This project once again confirms that when working with valuable materials and limited tolerances – precise 3D measurement is not an option, but a necessity. Measurement a private house in Zadar Project description The reconstruction of a private house in Zadar presented a unique challenge for our entire team – to achieve the perfect combination of functionality and aesthetics, with maximum precision in the production of custom-made furniture. Thanks to Flexijet 3D technology, a strong foundation was laid for a fast, accurate and successful project, and cooperation with our partner company specialized in the design, production and assembly of furniture enabled all interior elements – from the kitchen and living room, through the children’s room, to the bedroom with its own bathroom – to be executed without compromise. Project specificity The project included a complete reconstruction of the interior spaces, consisting of: The entryway, which sets the first impression of the warmth and style of the home Living room and kitchen combined into a single open space Master bathrooms and children’s rooms Bedrooms with private bathrooms.The goal was to achieve a fully functional home, adapted to the needs and wishes of the owner, with a modern design and maximum use of space. Advantages of FlexiJet 3D measurement Accuracy to the millimeter: Laser measurement with the Flexijet device guarantees precise data on all dimensions and angles of walls, floors and ceilings. Measurement, furniture design and technical preparation of furniture – custom bathroom construction Project description Measuring the position for making bathroom furniture to hide the hot water tank, gas boiler and central heating installation. A small and cramped space with many objects requires very good preparation in designing and making custom-made furniture. Devices like Flexijet come to the fore in such situations.With the Flexijet device, we took accurate CAD measurements of all relevant positions in the space, after designing the furniture with the MegaTISCHLERpro CAD/CAM software, we received high-quality technical preparation for making the furniture. The complete furniture was made with CNC machines, drilling and milling prepared with a combination of Flexijet and MegaTISCHLERpro programs, they “laid” perfectly in their place in the new bathroom. Measurement of the substructure of hotel food serving counters for their cladding in Laminam. Project description In the luxurious hotel environment of the Grand Hotel Adriatic in Opatija, where aesthetics and precision play an extremely important role, we were faced with the challenge of measuring the substructure of hotel food serving counters that will be clad in Laminam. The main goal was to enable perfect cladding of the counter with Laminam, with the accuracy required for irregular lines and demanding surfaces. Using advanced 3D measurement technology with the Flexijet system, this project was realized with outstanding results. Challenges Design complexity: Hotel counters are shaped with irregular lines and angles. Each surface required precise measurement to determine the exact angles and dimensions for Laminam processing. Demanding surface: Counter surfaces are designed so that the cladding requires minimal tolerance for deviations. Measurement errors could result in improper Laminam fitting and additional costs. Auxiliary counters: In addition to the main counter, two auxiliary counters had to be perfectly aligned with the main counter along the aesthetic line. Solution – Flexijet 3D Technology To ensure millimeter-level accuracy, the Flexijet 3D system, the leading technology for 3D laser measurement, was used. This tool allowed us to: Digitally measure the substructure of existing counters: A 3D model of the counter with precisely defined geometry of all irregular lines and angles. Accuracy on every detail: Laser reading ensured millimeter precision even on the most demanding surfaces. Easy integration with production software: The obtained data was immediately transferred to CAD programs for design and material preparation. Measurement procedure The Flexijet 3D device was installed in the hotel space, and the counter was measured in all dimensions. The measurement also included surrounding elements, in order to further optimize the adaptation of the counter to the space. Each surface was measured to obtain the exact angles and dimensions, and the data was immediately displayed on the computer model. Results and conclusion Precision: All materials, including Laminam for cladding, were processed based on the 3D model, eliminating the possibility of deviations during assembly. Aesthetic harmony: The counter and auxiliary elements are perfectly integrated into the space, with a flawless visual impression. Time Savings: Flexijet 3D enabled fast and accurate preparation, reducing the need for additional adjustments in the field. Special attention was given to the space between the bedroom and bathroom, which had to be separated by glass walls to make the space feel larger and more airy. The key challenges of the project included: Precise measurement of the existing state of the old apartment to obtain accurate data for efficient reconstruction Maximizing the use of space in each unit to ensure functionality without compromising aesthetics Combining glass walls with privacy in the bathrooms, allowing for an airy space while maintaining discretion for the users SolutionFor this project, a 3D Flexijet device was used, enabling extremely precise three-dimensional space measurement. Measurement, construction of furniture and technical preparation of furniture, “Plan” apartment Project description As with any custom furniture design and installation project, this one required a specific approach due to the spatial challenges – in this case, a kitchen that needed to be integrated into an open floor plan along with the living room. Due to the complexity of the space and the desire for seamless integration of elements, it was crucial to approach the project with maximum precision and care.The designated space had irregular shapes and specific dimensions that needed to be accurately measured so that all the furniture elements, including kitchen cabinets, the island, and living room shelves, would fit perfectly. Manual measurements and traditional tools did not provide the required precision or speed for such a demanding project. For precise spatial measurement, we used Flexijet – an advanced tool for real-time CAD measurements. With this device, we accurately measured all the relevant positions in the space,ensuring the dimensions were accurate to the millimeter.After gathering the measurements, the kitchen and furniture design was completed using theMegaTISCHLERpro CAD/CAM software. This software allowed for high-quality technical preparation necessary for producing the furniture on CNC machines. Most of the production processes were automated, except for the final touches and the creation of the countertop and island made fromsolid oak, which our carpenters crafted using “manual” methods – adding warmth and charm to the entire space. During installation, Flexijet once again proved to be a crucial tool. With its help, we precisely projected all the anchor points onto the wall, avoiding additional manual positioning steps forinstallation. This significantly reduced installation time and ensured the perfect positioning for drilling and hanging the elements. 3D measurements for kitchen design and installation Project description Drvona LTD hired us to do a 3D measurement of the dining room and kitchen area as part of a private house modernisation. The goal of the project was to accurately measure the space in order to create blueprints for the construction and installation of a custom-made kitchen.As with many similar projects, the main challenge was to make optimal use of the space and integrate the new kitchen with the existing elements in the home.However, this challenge was successfully overcome with the functionality of the Flexijet device, which allows for high precision in measuring space. Using this technology, it was possible to obtain detailed plans of the space, which further served as the basis for the design of the kitchen. The project resulted in the successful installation of a functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen that was fully adapted to the client’s needs. Measurement of the position for the fabrication of a kitchen countertop About the project: In this project the challenge was to fit the countertop perfectly into the space, taking into account all the specificities we encountered, such as the sink, windows, dishwasher, and other elements. To allow the window to open above the sink, it was necessary to lower the countertop while still maintaining a relatively standard height. The height of the dishwasher and the window sill imposed limitations on us. To overcome these obstacles, we had to thin the countertop by 20 mm on the underside in the area below the window. After detailed 3D measurements and proper technical preparation, we created CNC files, which the CNC machine used to carry out the rest of the work—precisely shaping the countertop according to our specifications. The installers then had a relatively easy task of placing the countertop in its position and applying a 3 mm silicone seal around it. There was no need for wall trims, as everything fit perfectly as planned. This project demonstrates that with the right approach and tools, challenges such as window height, sink and dishwasher positions can be turned into opportunities for innovative solutions that combine functionality and style.
